HPMETER1™

Energy Project Solutions HPmeter1™ (High Pressure) Single Chamber Orifice fittings are manufactured to meet stringent industry standards and safety guidelines and are designed to meet the end users expectations.

All our products are designed using DFM (Design For Manufacture) and DFA (Design For Assembly) techniques. This has resulted in products differentiated by their simplicity, reduced level of complex parts, and consequently provide the end user with a product that is remarkably simple to use, and is virtually maintenance free.

The “HPmeter1” product range has been rationalised to the extent that we can offer significantly reduced lead times on this range.

METER2DI®

The meter2di “Dual Chamber Orifice fitting with Double Isolation” is a proven system for safely and quickly inspecting and changing orifice plates in line with strict industry guidelines.

The meter2di solution is compliant with HSG253 publication ‘The safe isolation of plant and equipment’ and is classed as “Category II Proved Isolation”. All valve and internal chambers shafts can be ‘locked’ providing a physical and visible means of control, and is in compliance with many of the operators ‘isolation philosophy’s’.

Each product has been fully FEA (Finite Element Analysis) tested at design stage ensuring maximum safety to the user and the system. The meter2di has undergone a series of rigorous cycling tests ensuring the repeatability of the seals and equipment. Upon product assembly, each product is fully pressure tested to satisfy industry safety, European pressure guidelines and product expectations.

  • All valve and internal chamber seals can be locked into position.
  • Safe change out of plates.
  • Increased turn down capability.
  • Reduced operating costs – Uninterrupted gas flow whilst plates are safely inspected.
  • As there are no calibration requirements on orifice plates, the solution is an economic option against ultrasonic and cone meters.

METER RUNS

EPS meter runs form an integral part of the measuring system, and are used both up and downstream of the EPS meter. EPS meter runs are manufactured to meet stringent industry measurement and piping standards and safety’ guidelines. Designed to meet the end users expectations, they are designed to ensure that the meter run can be installed with total confidence.

Tapping points for instrumentation can be provided within the design for both upstream and downstream connections points, e.g. thermo-wells, densitometers. All of the EPS DP meters can be included into a meter run as well as flow conditioners/straighteners, DP transmitters, single point data transmitters, Diagnostics for CBM (Condition Based Monitoring) and flow compUters can be included within the solution to make a more complete ’Measurement System’.

EPS meter runs are designed to suit and comply with the specific customer requirements and needs. As with the DP meters EPS can offer, our meter runs can be supplied in all materials from carbon steels through to Super Duplex. Pipe end configurations are available as either welded or flanged in accordance with a variety of industry recognised flange standards or in compliance with the client specific flange requirements.

EPS Meter runs are manufactured in strict accordance with industry standards and are supplied with detailed measurement verification, materials certification and where applicable in compliance with PED 97/23/EC (Pressure Equipment Directive) and other client/region specific codes.

It is the combined manufacturing and dimensional accuracy of the meter and that of the meter run piping that provides the ’system accuracy’.

It is for that reason why EPS recommend purchasing a complete measurement system from EPS, comprising of an EPS DP meter and meter run, to optimise the metering accuracy.

All EPS meters can be supplied complete with a meter run, to further optimise the metering accuracy.

VENTURI METERS

EPS Venturi Meters are manufactured to meet stringent industry standards and safety guidelines and are designed to meet the end users expectations.

Venturi meters are used on applications where a low permanent pressure loss is desired. This type of ‘Differential Pressure Meter’ can be used on a wide variety of flow mediums and include slurry, heavy oil, sludge, liquid, vapour, gas and high pressure steam.

EPS Venturi meters are produced using 3 main manufacturing methods, selected to best suit the material and size of the meter. These are detailed in ISO 5167-4:2003 and permit the use of specific Beta ranges.
